Abstract

This paper considers the problem of estimation of population mean of a sensitive variable in double sampling. Randomized Response Technique (RRT) proposed by Chaudhuri and Adhikary (1990) is used to elicit the information of the sensitive character. An empirical study is included to show the relative efficiency of the proposed estimator over the usual estimator under the super-population model.
