Abstract

In the present investigation, a hybrid of calibration and imputation has been considered in the presence of a random non-response in survey sampling. Estimators of population mean associated with the proposed hybrid remain unbiased under design based approach. A simulation study is carried out to show the performance of the proposed methods compared to the ratio method of imputation.
