Abstract

The paper deals with bootstrap methods for the construction of confidence sets, various bootstrap procedures are illustrated. For each method, a critical analysis is carried out and advantages and drawbacks are highlighted. Furthermore, numerical examples show applications of these methods and provide computational details.
