Classes of almost unbiased ratio and product type estimators in two phase sampling

Abstract

This paper suggests classes of almost unbiased ratio type and product -type estimators for estimating the population mean in two phase (or double) sampling and analyses their properties. Empirical studies, are carried out to demonstrate the performances of the suggest estimators over others.
