Metriche nell'analisi dei dati simbolici

Abstract

In this paper the Author first considers the symbolic data analysis and the variables that one studies in this context. For every one of these variables (boolean, assertions, mother-daughter with taxo-nomic domain), it is defined a particular measure of proximity. Every one of these measures it is defined in the interval 0-1. These metrics are compared with the metric of Ichino-Yaguchi and Diday-De Carvalho. These different metrics are summarized with the arithmetic mean or, more in general, with the Minkowski metric.
